I am supposed to have an interview with Peter Schickele on Monday the 10th, and it's been so long since I was contacted, I don't know why this is up. Any ideas?

I don't know either, except that he may have heard your interview on our Library radio show. We had him on back-to-back with Bruce Murdoch, just as you were on with Bob Nelson. Maybe he's a fan and he wants to talk to/threaten you. You know he's PDQ Bach, right? And that he's a damned fine musician who's done pretty near everything, including arrangements for PP&M?

One source suggests that no new episodes have been recorded of Schickele Mix since June, 2007. Any show heard now is over two years old.

We used to enjoy that show hugely, on WFYI here in Indianapolis, until it disappeared suddenly a few years ago.

Wow! Blast form the past. My daughters and I adored PDQ Bach. Many a Sunday drive home from church was punctuated with us humming and singing along to the audio cassettes (now left behind).

Another thing to add to my ever growing wish list on amazon. Some PDQ Bach cds.
