Bobert's got it right. My hero (Barack Obama) has turned out to be nothing more than William Shatner (my other hero) in a deflatable (slimming) suit and a tan.

What a shock! I had 2 heroes...now I have only one. I can forgive Shatner for this subterfuge, though, because he really had no choice. A Canadian citizen cannot legally run for president of the USA, but only the "Shatner touch" can transform the USA back into a vibrant and prosperous democracy and rout the forces of evil.

So he had to do it.

Michelle Obama, by the way, is really Uhura. That is, she was cloned from the original Uhura...so she's actually Uhura version 2.0 (the second issue of Uhura). That explains her much younger appearance. Shatner's younger appearance is due to a crash California course in Pilates and transubstantial meditation.

The USA is definitely headed in the direction of full Shatnerization in our time, yours and mine, and I for one cannot wait to see that objective achieved by the present administration.
