There are several very clever suggestions.

For this particular album, on this particular evening I especially like:

"A Salt With Intent - Maine stories in Song and Word" (Sev)          "Kendall Morse. Music and Mirth 1987" (gnu)
"Lies, Lobster & Lore: Tall Tales & Tunes from the Coast of Maine"(Tinker)
"Kendall Morse: Maine Stories and Songs (some of which are absolutely true)" (Fortunato)
"A Tangle of Lines: Lyrics and Lore from the Sea and the Coast. (frogprince)

Whatever it is, I think adding the date of 1987 is a good idea. Gives everyone an idea that it's something they may not have heard... piece of the past, even tho recent...

The votes have been counted and the winners are:

Severn for A Salt with intent
GNU for Music and mirth from Maine.

Thanks to all who contributed. Severn won by most votes, even from other contributors.

Jacqui will be posting the label when she gets to it.

Kendall tells me that the original photo was taken by Sandy Paton - it just seemed like the right picture for this DVD to me.

Perhaps you haven't lost so much as had your titles deferred, frogprince. I was thinking Kendall and Jacqui would be wise to keep a list of the suggested titles here. Who knows how many more albums may emerge in the next several years?

Congratulations to all who submitted clever titles, to Severn and gnu, and most of all, to Kendall and Jacqui.

Excellent choice, Kendall.

Here are a couple of possible titles for possible future CD's, as per maeve's suggestion (since I'm late to the party myself):

"Maine's Course"

"Morse the Pity"

"Mainer than You"

"The Mainer the Better" (or "bettah")

Well, we won't turn it into a duel, gnu, or else we'll both each need a close second......

Contested prize words at ten pesos?

Our job is just to keep the nobility titled, thereby winning Noble Prizes and showing the nobility we have at least SOME 'bility.....
