Some Mudcatters will recall the earlier thread that sort of drifted from whether we were Mudcatters or Mudcatteers into the whereabouts of Darlene, a Mousecatteer heart-throb. Today's update:
LOS ANGELES (CNN) --
A former Mouseketeer is going to federal prison. Darlene Fraschilla (formerly Darlene Gillespie) asked a judge to delay her two-year sentence while she appeals her conviction for using bad checks to make investments. He denied the motion without explanation.
She was convicted of helping her then-boyfriend, Jerry Fraschilla, try to buy $827,000 in stock in 1992 and 1993 by writing checks on closed and overdrawn accounts. Jerry Fraschilla, 61, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.
Darlene Fraschilla, 57, was one of the nine original Mouseketeers on the Mickey Mouse Club show from 1955-59.

To paraphrase a common expression of my father's: there was a time when, if either of them had played their cards right, they coulda had me. (I think I may have been ten years old at the time in question.)
