Well, I have been shoppin' for a used Toyota truck and been checkin' on Craigslist and Craigslist has a section called "Rants and Raves" and so...

...last night I peeked in there and it made me sick... Nigger this, nigger that...

Is there an ability to complain about this on or to Craigslist? Can one check a listing as offensive or misleading? I'm never surprised at the idiocy of some people, only saddened.

I never thought to look at the discussion boards on Craigslist. I've just checked, and our local New Hampshire board has no "Rants and Raves" option. I can't imagine it being allowed here, but life is full of surprises.

Craigslist is being pressured to take a leedle more responsibility for what people post on it lately, as it was being used in some cases as a sexual services bulletin board.

They would argue that they are merely a medium and should no more be held accountable for content than a men's room wall is.

They are supposed to be the "Classifieds" of the internet, but I never saw THOSE kinds of ads/rants in any print classifieds!

If you go to the Craigslist Face Page there are many boxes... One for cities... Another for states... Personals, etc... You look around and you'll find "Rants & Raves"... Don't open it if you ain't in the mood to be very pissed off... And not just at Craigslist but to our fellow citizens who think like this...
