Learn all the Monroe and Flatt/Scruggs rep. There really isn't much more you need. At some point, you begin to make your own versions of tunes. It just happens. Everybody else has. So is anything done in a "folky" style Or classical style. anything can be done in a "hip hop" style. Start with a bunch of stupid hand and arm motions. bluegrass is more than a style or a genre.
