This is something my friends and I have done on high Sierra lakes and on the Colorado River many times. Just be certain to have a floatable, waterproof container for the axe - just in case of high boat wakes generated by the thoughtless boat drivers, or winds. I also have a less expensive Takamine classic for that purpose. A floating sing-along going downriver is great fun. |
