You know what does bother me about these caption threads? So far, I have rarely seen any animal that appeared to be enjoying the experience. It seems to always be the owner putting the animal in a ridiculous situation while the animal tries to tolerate it. Show me an animal who recognizes the ridiculousness of the activity and enjoys it and I will like them a whole lot more.

Ebbie, I'm wondering how many of the caption threads you've looked at. A LOT of the pics are of cats and dogs doing what cats and dogs do all by their lonesomes, such as getting into silly-looking positions in (to us) odd places (like bathroom sinks, tupperware bowls, trees, etc.)   I think the contrived ones are the exception, not the rule.
