The point of the software is to spread the movie URL - with your own image in it - to other friends who watch it, get the reminder about paying their Swedish broadcasting rate - and then pass on the movie with their images in it to other friends. A way of advertising the need to pay one's bill - with a bit of fun attached to it.

What IS interesting - for those who are interested in the technology - is the way in which the online software pastes in one's chosen photo into the video using sophisticated matteing software. It's quite straightforward to do this live on a computer with the software on it - but much more ingenious to do it online, and immediately.

This particular technique, and software, was developed by a friend on mine in the UK, who's now retired from the movie graphics business and making me nice guitars.
