We all know about the underdog. The ice rink in our little community of Lawrencetown with 600 people here in Nova Scotia has reached the final 12 of the annual Hockeyville of Canada competition.

The rink was created and adapted over the years by many folk in the community. Its a little battered but functional and well loved. We are up against communities of many thousands with commercial rinks. Its like a folk song going up against a series of cleverly moulded pop song; we know which one deserves to win but somehow the popular choice is picks the wrong one.

Help the underdog win, for once. Vote for us here

Thanks for voting in the first round of Canada's Hockeyville, you did the job and Lawrencetown is in the last 5, voting is open until midnight EDT on Wednesday. If you get chance please vote for the underdog, its going to be a remarkable story when the rink to small to hold an NHL game wins a pre-season game.
There are only 660 of us in Lawrencetown.

Ebbie, its not cheating the contest is setup that way I guess to reflect peoples enthusiasm. Some people here are voting several 1,000 times. Thanks for your votes.
