(Jackson) Browne's father was assigned to post-war 'reconstruction' work in Germany, which very likely means that he was in the employ of the OSS, precursor to the CIA....

On and on. Here's an article on MK-ULTRA. After WW2 the U.S. and Britain shuffled the German concentration camp doctors in with the von Braun "rocket scientist" group and brought them to safety in the west in Operation Paperclip. The Germans had been working on trauma-based mind control in the camps--how to break minds and such. They continued their work in Britain, the U.S. and South America. MK-ULTRA grew out of that work.
