Subject: BS: 3rd May Blues From: SPB-Cooperator Date: 03 May 10 - 04:57 AM Why, oh why don't the powers that be consult with South West Trains BEFORE setting the dates of Bank Holidays to make sure that there are no engineering works. All (both) the members of the co-operative have given up a days holiday to have a strategic review as our clients will be having a day off and not ringing up. However, due to 'engineering works' the review facilitator is stuck on the coast and can't get here. If train companies can cause disruption without notice - the meeting was planned three months ago, and there was no indication of the problems then... maybe it is time to change the calendar again, like the gregorian/julian calendar change - after 9th May, go back to 1st May, and have an extra week in the year.
