PBS has a promo with baclground music of a song which has "You are the World" as ending of stanzas or whatever. Does anyone know if this song is available as a CD

Clay, can you tell us what the promo is for? I went to the PBS search site and typed in "You are the wolrd" and came up with over 37,000 possibilities!

There a strong possibility that someone on here will know it, but it would help also to know if it was by a solo voice, band, if so what kind, what type of song it sounded like, i.e. pop, folk, jazz, etc.

There is also a music site, I'll go look for it, which is set up just so people can purchase music they hear on NPR, so I would assume PBS must have something similar. If I find it, I will put a link in here.

I think it is part of their If we don't do it who will promo. It is a solo voice, and it is heard while various scenes are shown. I'll pay more attention next time. unfortunately I will be off line until next Tuesday.
