Or everyone frowns when someone sits in "your seat."

The waitress brings you your leftovers from the previous session.

@ madauntiecat: barkeep knowing what you drink would apply to any regular, not just session regulars. Good bar staff will always know your drink a long time before they know your name.

One of our regulars has a fanclub, three ladies of more mature years who sit in the corner and twinkle at him. We're trying to persuade them to sing.

To add to my OP, when the barkeep knows exactly what you drink; a request for a 'small vat of old unpronounceable' gets a large glass of pleasant fruity red. When MaduncleBucket started WW and changed his order from a full-fat shandy to a diety coke it caused Consternation.

Too true, you write Just ONE funny song and nobody takes you seriously any more. They either laugh inappropriately at your serious songs or request "Size Doesn't Matter" yet again.
