In some old hockey thread I took note of the potential of this young Chicago Blackhawks team. Tonight the finals start---and it is just cool as all hell to have them there.

Even the Chicago Cubs have FINALLY taken note of their huge season. The Cubs have decided to allow the Blackhawks finals series to be broadcast on WGN-radio---even though the Cubs seem to have a contractual agreement to have their baseball games take precedence.

I for one appreciate their decision!

I moved from Detroit to Racine, Wisconsin when I was nine, and many of the neighbors were fans of Chicago teams. Nothing could sway me, however. I have stayed loyal to my Detroit teams all my life.
And just for that, Art, I'm moving this thread out of the music section.
But you're welcome to compose or post hockey songs.

What's the deal with hockey??? The best teams are allready gone and what we have are two very average teams in the finals... Somethin' stinky...
