Subject: BS: Railway Children in Waterloo Station From: Bonzo3legs Date: 10 Jul 10 - 01:58 PM Just got back from seeing this wonderful production in a theatre built over 2 former Eurostar platforms. Warnings - no food and drink is allowed to be taken in, it must be purchased within the theatre area and is very expensive. So make sure it is well hidden when entering the theatre area. A 130ml tub of ice cream was £3 - hideously expensive, some family groups had up to 6 children so on top of the price of entrance tickets, this would make it a very expensive outing. However the production was excellent, with a guest steam engine rolling in a few times. There are young prefects with eyes glued on the audience to make sure nobody takes any photos. It was a good opportunity to test out a new minature mic I bought this week! |

Subject: RE: BS: Railway Children in Waterloo Station From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 11 Jul 10 - 06:58 PM ...this would make it a very expensive outing. Only if the parents were ludicrously soft touches. And the Railway Children is all about doing without and making do when necessary. |
