Rhino Original Album Series: inexpensive CDs

There is large series of 5-CD collections being issued
by RHINO of old US pop/folk etc. - they are being retailed
for under $30 (that's about $6 per disc).

Packaging is a paper sleeve for each cd (reduction of the original LP jacket) in a slipcase. NO additional notes or information.

They are available from most US e-tailers,
sourced from UK or Europe.

There are many - but those which caught my attention are
TOM PAXTON
JUDY COLLINS
EVERLY BROTHERS
EMMYLOU HARRIS

The Original Album Series is available in the US, but I wouldn't call it a bargain price. Well, the five-disc Paxton set is a bargain at $30, but some in the series are quite a bit more expensive.

That's Xmas sorted out then - Satriani and Vai for son, Judy Collins and Aretha Franklin for my wife...

There is a similar series from SONY (Sony/BMG)
"Original Album Classics"
didn't notice anything of particular interest to mudcaters,
but there may be.
Similar prices, though different sellers prices vary widely.

With imports, it is sometimes less expensive to purchase
from the UK - save the PT, but higher shipping cost.
Some US sellers really gouge with high markup.
