Subject: RE: BS: unemployment rate - Jan 20, 2008 From: Jack the Sailor Date: 10 Sep 10 - 01:01 PM The unemployment rate is unlikely to drop in the near term. Population growth requires a couple of hundred thousand jobs per month to stay even and any uptick in jobs encourages underemployed and discouraged workers, those who are not actively looking, to step into the market. If the Republicans fail it will be due to people remembering who got us into this mess and due to their total lack of workable ideas and their total lack of effort to try to help the government create jobs. Are a majority of the voters well informed enough to make that determination? Probably not. |

Subject: RE: BS: unemployment rate - Jan 20, 2008 From: kendall Date: 09 Sep 10 - 12:10 PM The latest news says that unemployment is dropping and that the trade deficit is easing. Could be bad news for the republicans. |
