Subject: Well, it's not in any thread I have seen. And a se From: Jim Dixon Date: 10 Nov 10 - 03:31 PM Well, it's not in any thread I have seen. And a search for "whattheheckhasobamadonesofar"—with or without spaces—doesn't turn up anything. Anyway, does anyone really have time to read all Mudcat threads? |

Subject: RE: BS: http://whattheheckhasobamadonesofar.com/ From: Jack the Sailor Date: 10 Nov 10 - 03:36 PM This is a very new website, presented without comment. With due respect Q, I do not believe it has been covered. Though it is true that the website can be reached by a url with a curse word in it. |

Subject: RE: BS: http://whattheheckhasobamadonesofar.com/ From: Desert Dancer Date: 10 Nov 10 - 04:04 PM "Liar!" ??? Sheesh. Perhaps Q means that the political discussion to be inferred from the site has been well covered here at Mudcat, not that the web site has been mentioned previously. Personally, I loved the site, and was really annoyed to only have heard of it (via Facebook) on election day. I do feel like Jim Dixon's exactly right -- it's the information that was not well-covered during the campaign season, and it might have helped. However, while I do believe that the state of ignorance on the details among the electorate was high, and some people might have changed their votes if they had had better information, it is also clear that not everyone reading it would agree that all of the items cited are good things. ~ Becky in Tucson |
