hello, yes, next year I'll be 50 (!) and the twins will be 16 (!!) so I'm asking the parental unit for plane tix, I want to go to France, where else. However I'd like to fly in somewhere nearby, and take a train or a bus or a boat to one end of the French TGV line, or something. I have places to stay in various areas, including friends from high school, whee!

So, who-all is near or in France? I'd love to see you! And maybe sleep on your couch!

Also, does anybody know a good place to fly into, not a particular target, possibly cheaper than, say Calais or Marseille?

And finally, please help connect the 'catter(s?) who get steep travel discounts and me, I know there are some...
