For too long, poncy players who are grossly overpaid, give nothing but grief to the referee. On top of that, when they get death threats becuase they didn't give a penalty here or a goal there etc etc. I hope the refs in the English league's follow suit. Maybe when these nincompoop's realise that it's not fun, not being able to play football and possibly jeapordising their livelyhood, they might just learn to accept that a ref has a not very easy job to do. They also probably do not earn the digusting amounts of money these brainless footballers do. I am with you referee, even if you do get it wrong against my team. |

Sunday, 8pm, BBC2 It was on last Sunday and last night, and it's on for another four weeks (I think). Great TV. There's always plenty on other than football, just needs a bit of imagination and skill with the TV Remote to find it! :-) |
