Norfolk turkey tycoon Bernard Matthews has died at the age of 80, his company has confirmed.

May he and his giblets RIP

Won't be the same eating his Turkey at Christmas, knowing he has gone to promote turkey's in the sky.

Ironic that he should die on the same day as millions of US turkeys.

While a rare meat eater, I hope his turkey roasts keep going, I thought them ideal when I was on my own or say for a Christmas dinner with veggie parents.

Who is king of turdurken? Got an adv. from a local supermarket, taking orders (something about a turkey swallowing a duck and etc. turns me off).

There was an old lady who swallowed a duck
How the **** did she swallow a duck
Perhaps she'll croak

It seems he's going to be cremated. Have they got instructions and is he ready basted?

To be sung in his honour this and every Christmas: A Seasonal Offering.

So Farewell then
Kindly Bernard
You were never wise and learn-ard
Boot-ful, really boot-full!
That was your catchphrase
My mate Keith reckons you will
Come to judgement
Facing the millions of turkeys
Whose lives you cut short.
Still its not like
They were going to university
Or had alternative careers planned.
Is it?

Matthews? Behind the jovial television persona lay an utter scumbag. Bent as a nine-bob note, a bully and a braggart, with no redeeming features that I can think of.
That's nothing to do with the way he treated his turkeys - the way he treated human beings was beyond the pale. Just ask anyone who ever worked at one of his factories.
Let flights of vengeful turkey gutters carry thee to thy rest
