It's a great pity that the same number didn't march against the hideous labour government's disasters, which have caused the cuts to be made by the coalition.

I was just watching it on the BBC news. At least one officer was seriously injured. Footage showed the policeman lying motionless on the ground while two drugged fuelled student louts danced in front of the cameraman. Medics fitted him with a neck brace and used a makeshift stretcher to remove him.

Just watching this group of disgusting unwashed rabble throwing missiles at the horses....how brave. Also, so far, out of all the 'students' being interviewed, not one so far can even speak the Queen's English or string together an articulate sentence.

Any idea when Bridge is due ? Good to see you in health Bonzo.

I would say you are again correct. I believe it can stimulate acetylcoline/parasympathis nervous functions. Did you know such practice can cause the brain and adrenal glands to perform excessive dopamine- norepinephrine ?

Bonzo. In case you've forgotten, the hideous labour government's disasters were part of a world wide recession brought on by greedy bankers. Blame them, not individual governments, or individual protesters.

Richie. I hold no brief for violent demonstrators and I will be peacefully protesting against the cuts on Saturday. But how many people were in that crowd of 20,000? That's the estimate I heard on the news, 20,000. And how many of them caused any trouble. A couple of dozen perhaps? Or maybe 50 or 60. Who knows, it might have been all of 100. well, if it was, 100/20000 works out at just 0.05%. A considerably lower proportion of trouble makers than you'd get in any city centre on a Saturday night, methinks, or on a Bullingdon club shindig.

Those are highly speculative figures I'll agree. But perhaps you can explain how you know any of them were 'drug fuelled'. And have they started fitting tvs with olfactory devices since I last bought one? If not, how were you able to deduce that any of them were unwashed?

BTW., unwashed is an epithet I've had slung at me when demonstrating aginst the BNP. I can tell you now, nothing could be further from the truth.

protester swinging from the Union Jack flag flying on the Cenotaph. They are scum. Police must act, my advise is "If you can't open their minds, open their heads." So yes, crack their skulls open. Several police officers are in hospital tonight. The police do not deserve this treatment and behave with tremendous self restraint against these dope addicts wearing scarfs. What possible justification is there for pulling a man from his horse's back. Don't you dare cry police brutality they are doing their jobs.
