Search for 'Village Carols'; there is a website where you can buy books of about a dozen carols in each and they are pretty cheap. I can't easily give link from my phone, sorry

This takes you to the order form for Dr Ian Russells excellent book of Sheffield Village carols.

http://www.worrallmvc.org.uk/images/WMVC-Merchandise-Order-Form.pdf

will take you to the Worrall male voice choir order form for the 'blue book' which is used in many of the pubs.

The Worral Blue Book is a good one, 90+ versions in four part harmony
As are all Ian Russells books.
Both are Sheffield based, but tunes have a habit of wandering around and cropping up somewhere else with a different name.
I would like to know about a Saddleworth book if one exists.

As far as I am aware some of the local Saddleworth tunes were written by local church organists and the like.I do know of one called Silver Hill that is played in Delph on Whit Friday but in the old days used as a version of While Shepherds just one of dozens used for this carol in Yorkshire.
