Okay, Ebbie. Thought I mighta missed sommat but I certainly agree.

Hell of way to choose to kill yourself... endangering and frightening others like that. But he obviously was not mentally stable.

You know, gnu, one impression of the guy remains with me: it seems to me that he was at war with himself- he really did not want to kill anyone else.

Shooting a number of times at point blank range and missing every time is one indication. Another is that when the woman hit his arm he shook her off and did not even aim his handgun at her. In fact, he let her leave without comment.

This man, I think, wanted to die but had not gotten to the point of being a killer.
