Subject: BS: Merry Christmas from Pine Grove Holler..
From: Bobert
Date: 18 Dec 10 - 09:00 PM

Wish I could name everyone personally here that I'd like to wish a merriest of Christmas's to but I'm afraid that I'd leave someone out and suffer for it but...

...regardless of one's Faith, lack there of, or anywhere in the middle I'd like to just take this time to extend my best wishes to each of my Mudcat friends and not-so-chummy-friends... It's all about taking the time to stop and take in all the blessings (luck/fate) that come into each of our lives...

So, keep it merry... Keep it happy... Keep it loving... And keep those who mean the most to you in yer thoughts (prayers) and don't forget to tell 'um how much they mean to you...

So, tonight, I lift my glass (aluminum can, in this case) to all my friends here and invite others to do as well...

Merry Christmas...

Bobert

Holler -- Hillbilly talk for "hollow" which are roads that lead back into the mountain but only get to where the mountain is too steep to go any further... One thing about all hollers is ya' gotta come out the way you got in...

BTW, ya'll... We're adding Lo Han Kuo ice cream to our seasonal offerings...

And always nice to hear from our Down-under, UK and Arizona friends...

Ahhhhh, thanks, oldster... Now if yer trying to get decaf coffee added to our ever increasin' list of new Mudcream Ice cream, firget it... Decaf isn't like, ahhhhh, real coffee... Not that it doesn't have a place... Like mental hospitals... lol... No kiddin'... Back in my social work days I'd get new cases (clients) that were comin' out of their um-teenth visit of Central State Hospital and so I'd have to take the "welfare car" down to Petersburg, Va. to collect 'um and meet with the clinicians there and that's all they had in that entire hospital... Even for staff???? What's that all about... Sometimes I'd be there fir 3 to 4 hours and no real coffee??? No wonder them folks were always eager to see me and get out... Decaf is "cruel and unusal" punishment!!! And fir what??? Bin' a little nuts???

Sheet fire, Oldster... Get some led fir the pencil!!!

Deans Eggnog ice cream??? Hmmmmm??? Has potential...

Thanks, maeve... Cold here, too... 20, or so, tonight... No snow thou we still have snow from almost 2 weeks ago that won't go away... Expecting more Christmas Eve... How romantic, right??? I'll take a pass, thank you... Means going out and coaxing my Kabota to start and then plowing out the drive way 'cause it's so steep that 4-5 inches of snow is the difference between driving the 1/2 miles up here where we are or walkin' it...

I like driving...

Plus, the boys who bought the spec house that I built are having the family here for Christmas and they have made it clear that they will pay me to keep the driveway passable for the 5 days that them folks will be here...
