It has been a pain in more ways than one. She had it in a splint to begin with but decided at a certain point to begin exercisig it. Well, it was too soon and she damaged the healing connections that had begun. The doc chewed her out. She had to wear the splint again and keep her knee immobile several more weeks. She is now in physical therapy but wears the splint when she needs to rest it. Evidently it is a lengthy process but it *will* heal. |
