Subject: RE: Many thanks to Les in Chorlton! From: Les in Chorlton Date: 17 Feb 11 - 11:02 AM You are all too kind. I have passed a pile if stuff around in the spirit it has been passed to me with helpful advice from Will and Valmai, The Lewes website and dozens and dozens of people on here. Songs and Tunes at The Beech is great fun because of all those people who sang and played tunes for 400 odd years or whatever and all the people who came to sing them again. Best of luck Alex Cheers Les |

Subject: RE: Many thanks to Les in Chorlton! From: Will Fly Date: 17 Feb 11 - 02:39 PM I'm flattered because I don't think I've done much at all - but if I have, then you're welcome! Actually, I think that Les's organisation at the Beech - which I've sampled once and hope to sample again - is really excellent. No wonder the Beech Big Band is up to 400 members. (Have I got the right figure there?) :-) |
