Well, they are judo dogs. That is, judo is their passion. Roy and Rexley live in the same flat, and they both have black belts in judo. Roly is Roy's cousin, recently come to visit, and he's a rank beginner...only a white belt. He wants Rexley to do some judo with him, but Rexley despises Roly and he can't be bothered. Roly does the Hip Hop and Rap style chatter all the time, and Rexley can't stand it. That pretty well covers it, I think.

I suspect the makers are nuts, and that I am too. An indifferent PC that enjoys buffering so that everything comes in seemingly random spurts probably didn't help my comprehension, but I'm not downhearted, though I do have a question..............

LH..How do you find these things??

I would also ask why, but one deep mystery per day is my limit.

You're willing to waste hours of your life on an internet forum arguing and bitching with other people over gay marriage, the Republican Party, the Democrats, Obama, religion, Sarah Palin, and whatever the hell else you've got your underwear in a knot over...alienating each other with your divergent views and getting pissed off about it...and you can't enjoy a harmless minute or two of your life watching a funny video about some judo dogs?

Mind you, I've been getting the Judo Dogs videos sent to me by whoever makes them for about 3 years now...I think they do a new one once a month...so the characters have become familiar to me. And that makes it more amusing. Perhaps you just haven't had time to develop that familiarity.

On the other hand, perhaps you're too stuck on your present state of perfection to be bothered... ;-)

That's for sure. Rexley is an utter bastard. He has never shown even a glimmer of consideration or respect for anyone other than himself. He's truly hateful. I keep hoping that Roy will finally lose his patience completely and kick Rexley's ass. I don't think Roly could do it, only being a white belt, but I have confidence in Roy. Too bad he's such a nice guy or Rexley would be dead by now. In fact, he'd have been dead a long time ago. And no bloody loss!!!

The first Dog Judo episode arrived in my email a couple of years ago or more now. I liked it. It has continued with monthly episodes ever since. The long-suffering Roy is a short-haired and handsome looking white dog, nice chap, a real idealist, lives for judo, wants only to spar properly with Rexley in order to improve their judo techique, but never gets to because Rexley always plays some dirty trick which sabotages the sparring and causes Roy acute discomfort. Rexley is the capital "A" in the word Asshole. Occasionally Roy gets the better of him. Roly is Roy's naive young cousin, showed up recently, seems to want to learn judo, but hasn't shown much talent for it yet. He also appears to have been brainwashed by televised American Black ghetto music or something...tragic, really. ;-) The more you watch Dog Judo, the better you like it. The desire to see Rexley get pulverized will bring you back again and again.

Immediately below it you can scroll through the older epsisodes...a long history of Rexley's insensitive assaults upon the gentle and considerate Roy, plus occasional visits from Roy's elderly dad and his cousin Roly, plus a couple of other charming dog characters.

Do it now! Save yourself unnecessary pain on the political and religious threads and escape those nasty personal vendettas with other posters here that keep you fuming and typing furiously till carpal tunnel sets in. ;-)

Check out some of the old episodes in the menu below the current video. They're all quite amusing, and it's fun getting to know the characters and what makes them tick.

By the way, I made an error above when describing Roy. He's not a white dog, he's wearing a white judo suit. His own color is sort of tan. I'm not sure which breed he is, but it's a short-haired, pointy-eared type of dog, medium size, long legs. Quite a handsome breed, in any case. Rexley appears to be some sort of bastardized black spaniel...I think.
