The NEFFA Festival (also known as The New England Folk Festival) is a fabulous blend of dance, music, crafts, and food from many lands. The 2011 Festival, our 67th annual Festival, is going to be held on April 15-17 2011 in Mansfield, Massachusetts (near Boston).

CAMSCO, a always, will be there, with a couple of thousand of hard-to-find folk CDs. If anyone would be interested in giving us a hand (primarily loading up after the Festival), we can offer a free all-festival pass. Of course, we could use help setting up, too.

Well, I was going, then my band got a gig, so I wasn't going, and then the gig fell through, so now we're going, Jennifer and I, but won't be on the program. I suppose I could help schlep boxes of CDs and such, if they aren't too heavy. I did have those two heart incidents a year ago, so if the lifting will be too heavy, I probably shouldn't take it on. That said, I surely could use the free pass. As a performer, I've not had to buy a ticket for years, and it's pretty pricey, to my way of thinking.

I'm not sure I'll be in your area on Friday this year. I helped you haul in milk crates last year. I'll try to keep an eye out and help if I can.
