One of the greatest Hockey players in the game and part of the "French Connection" that dominated the game of hockey in the 70's. Rick was a close friend to me. I knew him since 1980. A kind and gentle soul that was a friend to everyone ... I came back from a business trip just to find this out ... my heart is broken

He certainly was a great and will be missed by all his love ones.

If you ever met him, you would know what a smile the guy could bring to your face ... four seconds later you would be laughing .. If he wasn't so great in hockey he could have been a stand up for sure ... heart breaking to say the least. I will miss my friend

Didn't know much about him except what I saw on the ice on TV. Sounds like a great guy. RIP.

My sympathies for your loss, Dan, Rick was much too young to leave us, RIP.
