Subject: BS: Obama loses on shutdown threat From: Stringsinger Date: 12 Apr 11 - 04:01 PM Obama has caved into the Republican demands so much now that he has weakened his prospects for being elected unless by default. He has weakened the Democratic Party by his refusal to recognize his base, show little spine, being muted about the political atrocity in Wisconsin, having a muddled foreign policy, attempting to play the "nice guy" with political opponents who overtly want him defeated. |

Subject: RE: BS: Obama loses on shutdown threat From: Wesley S Date: 12 Apr 11 - 04:28 PM Frank - Even though agree with your assessment of what Obama has done in many ways I think those things will make him easier to elect. He can be "sold" as a more moderate candidate that is willing to work with the other side to get things done. At least I think they will spin it that way. |

Subject: RE: BS: Obama loses on shutdown threat From: Stringsinger Date: 12 Apr 11 - 04:32 PM I agree, Wesley, they will spin it that way. He will be re-elected by default unless the GOP offers a candidate that can garner public attention. |

Subject: RE: BS: Obama loses on shutdown threat From: Jim Dixon Date: 12 Apr 11 - 04:50 PM One of the ads on this page is recommending Ann Coulter to me. I guess they figure anyone who reads an attack on Obama must be a Coulter fan. It is good to be reminded what the alternatives are. |

Subject: RE: BS: Obama loses on shutdown threat From: saulgoldie Date: 12 Apr 11 - 05:48 PM Obama is to the right of Republican Teddy Roosevelt. I keep wondering how far the Dems will have to go before I just decide that it it is worse than "the lesser of evils" and just vote how I really feel. I think Obama is counting on that lesser of evils sentiment. But he, along with the help of many other Dems, has given away so much of the store... Saul |

Subject: RE: BS: Obama loses on shutdown threat From: GUEST,Chachi Jonesburg III Date: 13 Apr 11 - 07:53 PM "He (Obama) will be re-elected by default unless the GOP offers a candidate that can garner public attention." ..............like......Chongo? I'm tellin' you, that ape CAN garner public attention. Damn straight. Just wait and see. He'll do anything to get attention. He'll say anything. I voted for him last time, because he ain't human. He ain't a Baboon either...but ya can't have everything, that's the way I look at it. So I figger to vote for him again in 2012. Only trouble is, he ain't gonna run on the Republican ticket, so I guess the GOP is doomed. Too bad. That's why I'm votin' APP all the way. Watch yer back, Obama! We're shakin' the branches, throwin' fruit, and callin' out LOUD FOR CHANGE!!!!! - Chachi |

Subject: RE: BS: Obama loses on shutdown threat From: GUEST,Chachi Jonesburg III Date: 13 Apr 11 - 11:34 PM Was Hitler born in Germany? No! He was born in Austria. But he still got elected head honcho in Germany in 1933, didn't he? I don't see why Chongo can't do the same kinda thing here. It's simple...we just annex the small part of Africa that Chongo was born in, make it the 51st state of the USA, that clears up the birthplace issue, and Bob's yer uncle! ;-D Child's play! You just gotta think outside the box. - Chachi |
