Subject: RE: BS: Polo season starts May 1 From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 30 Apr 11 - 03:11 PM Haven't watched polo since I left school, many years ago. My school was one of the few where it was an official sport (U. S. military college). Don't hear much about it here, but 70 and more years ago, Millerville, near Calgary, had a great reputation in polo (English families had settled in the area, as ranchers). |

Subject: RE: BS: Polo season starts May 1 From: Bonzo3legs Date: 01 May 11 - 07:22 AM We missed a great England v Argentina polo game when in BA, we spoke to someone during our return flight who knows the England team well, and said that although Argentina won, the England team with Luke & Mark Tomlinson was superb, scoring a goal after only 20 secs of a chukka start! |
