Subject: RE: BS: Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup final From: Bonzo3legs Date: 16 Jul 11 - 01:48 PM Brothers Agustin and Sebastian Merlos, both 9 goal players from Argentina will be playing - highest handicap is 10 goal so they are very very good indeed! Quote from Sebastian Merlos "Polo is in itself extremely dangerous. If to that danger we add bad intentions, then it becomes truly dangerous. 1 consider myself a strong player. When 1 go for it, I go for it, but I'm not trying to push anyone off their horse or kill anybody." |

Subject: RE: BS: Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup final From: Stilly River Sage Date: 17 Jul 11 - 03:43 PM Is that where the games are, Governor's Island in New York? I wouldn't be there for the game, but years ago I visited Governor's Island many times (I was a park ranger on the adjacent Ellis and Bedloe's, aka Liberty, Islands). It's a beautiful place to visit if you have an opportunity. SRS |
