I agree, Jacqui. My youngest daughter, Morgan's mom, has told me since she was quite young, she believes there will be a revolution in her time and she thought it would be sooner rather than later. I love what EMILY women are doing!

great video, let's hope the six senatorial challengers get elected. the neo cons (really laissez faire capitslists) are trying to turn the clock back to before roosevelt.

they are bankrupting the government on purpose to slash social and arts programs.

it reminds me of france bevore the revolution. the upper two classes, the nobles and the churchmen had lobbied for two centuries to get out of paying any taxes(for the good of the country--taxes were burdening the creative job producing classes). the result?

the poor were so crushed by poverty, debt and taxation they revolted. sound sort of familiar.

now we do have to be carefull that no napoleon arises to take over any revolution

There is a danger that a charismatic personality could latch themselves onto this cause for their own ends - history shows this to be the case. Napoleon and Hitler are just two examples.

Stop fighting the Tea party and start using what they have...grass roots appeal.....stop supporting divisive and poisonous policies.
Never forget you we a minority....the political left has a very bad habit of imagining that they have a huge majority amonst the population...they do not! Plenty of people vote centre left because it suits them to do so.....ideologically they are as right wing as the republicans.

No revolution without unity, no unity without a change of stance from the left...co-operation is more powerful than confrontation.

Dont forget, the future is about survival, not gender politics.
