I remember reading somewhere a collection of advice to new college grads. It advised them to "find someone who owns a swimming pool and endear yourself to them". Sounded like good advice to me.

And that is why so many wealthy people are so paranoid about their family and friends only being around for the money. Makes for a pretty sad emotional life, in some cases.
