Thanks, ya'll. freda, I went to work, on April Fool's Day, to a brand new job as a radio advertising salesperson...something I'd never done before. I met my Rog and another Roger there. I liked them both and thought I might like to go out with one, but wasn't sure which. My Rog solved that. Before the day was out, he'd asked me on a date, bold as you please! (I later found out the other Roger was gay and, already Rog's best friend, he soon became my best friend, too.) Two months later, the kids, cats, dog and I moved out to his ranchette (25 acres) about 15 miles out of town where we had all kinds of adventures and where he also had his horse. (When I finish editing it, there's a book about it, On Poison Spider.:-) (That was the road name for a section of the actual old Oregon Trail.) Good memories. |
