Subject: RE: BS: Can I Stop Crying Now From: katlaughing Date: 21 Mar 12 - 12:02 AM Of course, Adrien! Sometimes it's just time for a new thread, esp. when something outstanding comes along and we want to share it on its own so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle, so to speak.:-) I've been looking for new good movies to watch, so will load up on hankies and take a look. Usually I don't watch heart breakers any more, but if a good friend recommends one, I usually will. Thanks! kat |

Subject: RE: BS: Can I Stop Crying Now From: Little Hawk Date: 22 Mar 12 - 11:47 AM Well, I found Avatar very moving, I must say. I identified with the ideals that were being expressed in it. Dances With Wolves affected me that way too, for similar reasons. |

Subject: RE: BS: Can I Stop Crying Now From: Bonnie Shaljean Date: 23 Mar 12 - 11:30 AM Oh, man. Just reading the plot of Hachi in Wiki was enough to do it to me...anything with a dog in it, book or film... Old Yeller, Greyfriars Bobby, Dog of Flanders... *sniff* |

Subject: RE: BS: Can I Stop Crying Now From: Beer Date: 23 Mar 12 - 12:41 PM You are right there Bonnie. I can't remember seeing a movie about a Dog with a happy ending. This one about Hachi will tear your heart out. Ad. |

Subject: RE: BS: Can I Stop Crying Now From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 24 Mar 12 - 12:58 AM Beer: "I can't remember seeing a movie about a Dog with a happy ending." Dog-Tales!....Wiggly-Waggly Endings! GfS .....and you haven't seen 'The Notebook', yet....Don't read a revue about it...you could mess it up for yourself......just enjoy it...you meat-head.....What's takin' you so long????? (wink) |

Subject: RE: BS: Can I Stop Crying Now From: Beer Date: 24 Mar 12 - 12:48 PM Wish I could think of something profound to say GfS but I am lost for words. I just read the reviews and didn't realize that is was "somewhat" based on a true story. No matter, it was a wonderful movie. Thank you for the suggestion. Ad. |

Subject: RE: BS: Can I Stop Crying Now From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 24 Mar 12 - 02:52 PM I guess you saw it.....So, if that is the case..you're welcome!...Did it wreck you? Another GOOD flick, which strikes home was "Pay It Forward". The movie people took it out of theaters after it played only two weeks, because the storyline affected people in such strong a way, that the 'industry' felt it threatened the 'attractive substance' of the rest of their summer releases...which, of course, was the same ol' crap that they've been peddling for quite a long, too long time. BTW, Did you actually watch the movie,(notebook) or just read the review? Regards...with Taste! GfS |

Subject: RE: BS: Can I Stop Crying Now From: Beer Date: 24 Mar 12 - 03:56 PM Got home from the Coffee House gig last evening at 11 then started the movie. Turned it off at midnight and watched the rest just before I posted at 12:48. I just looked to see if Netflick has "Pay It Forward" in their listing but I'm afraid not. So chances of watching it has diminished unless I can find it else where. Time I take a rest from these tearjerkers and watch something a little lighter. Thanks again. ad. |
