Thankyou Bruce. I had a cut finger doing that - put my hand in the knife drawer without looking and got an edge. I opened my guitar case this morning for the first time since doing that. the front of the guitar was covered with blood. Thank god the guitar is black - otherwise the audience would have been throwing up.
