From: GUEST

I am a middle bar singer
I know I am the best
I am a middle bar singer
Better than all the rest

I sing 'em loud, I sing 'em strong
Stand up in all the right places
We always have a good sing along
Cos we only pick well known faces

CHORUS

I wear my yellow t shirt,
When up country I go
I wear my yellow t shirt,
Cos I want you all to know

CHORUS

I sing all the old standards
Know them all the way through
And I know the best tune for them
I don't need to listen to you

For CHORUS

I won't sing the wild rover
In case you know I did
Even though the punters ask me
You'd all fine me five quid

As CHORUS

I sing songs with a chorus
I know how it should be
So if you want to sing along
You must slow down like me

Don't get this at all. When I've been there, the Middle Bar high-heid yuns don't pick anyone, well-known or otherwise. And they do listen. On the other hand, some of them can't perform without words in front of them (And may I take this opportunity to say how strongly I disapprove, and certainly wouldn't claim to know all the standards.
And a good chorus should be slown down. It's a natural tendancy in a crowd anyway: people enjoy lingering on the notes.

Why refresh, Dave?

It's classic trolling- an anonymous poster arguing with themselves.

Night night! :)
