My mate over here runs a shop selling English and Australian goods mainly food, which he get's from TESCO. He went over last week to England to load up the order which he placed on line. When payment time came he swiped his English card and was told the transaction could not be verified so he was stuck with two and half grands worth of goods with no method of Payment! He had to drive back to the Netherlands pick up his dutch bank card and return. He's well out of pocket on this does he have a claim???

As Aye,

Phil.

I

Sort of.....

A couple of weeks ago my wife and I opened new ISA accounts and put in our first deposits by cheque.
We were told that they would let us know when the accounts had been created and the money(s) were in the accounts.
The cheques have been processed ( different bank) but we have not heard any more yet.
We have queried it yet as we assume that as we don't want access to the money yet it shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe our money " broke the bank".....lol

Cheers

MikeL2

What DOES stink is that the phone numbers to query any problems were
(For the first few days at least) all premium numbers . Try claiming any of THAT back !!
