Subject: BS: Rain Dance. What's your's? From: gnu Date: 06 Jul 12 - 05:00 PM George : Gonna do some paintin, eh? Me : Nope. Irish Rain Dance. Two mandoors and the porch railings should bring a good shower. George : Nah, it's not gonna rain tonight. Me : I'll bet ya a buck. George : Nah. I'm not a betting man. So, I am pruning the apple tree in the rain and George is watching me from his deck While I am hauling branches and I'm thinking, I'm out a buck and some paint. What's your rain dance? |

Subject: RE: BS: Rain Dance. What's your's? From: MGM·Lion Date: 06 Jul 12 - 05:13 PM Going to California. Everyone knows it never rains in California. But Valerie & I went to LA twice, 6 months apart, Oct 2003 & April 2004, and it pissed with rain both times. We told our friends there, next time you have a drought, don't do a rain-dance, just bring the GMs over! ~Michael~ |

Subject: RE: BS: Rain Dance. What's your's? From: frogprince Date: 06 Jul 12 - 06:25 PM Our all-time most effective rain dance was packing up (in Michigan) with a tent and gear, for a trip East: Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Scarborough Maine, Ormstown Quebec, and past Toronto to home. We've survived everything short of a tornado or hurricane any number of times in a tent. On the first night of that trip, we abandoned the tent during the night for the first time ever. We never got a chance to pitch the tent again the entire trip. |

Subject: RE: BS: Rain Dance. What's your's? From: GUEST,Eliza Date: 07 Jul 12 - 07:59 AM Britain is awash with severe flooding at the moment. (It's been the wettest June since records began) The sluice gates down at our watermill are permanently open, but the water's still rising ominously! So does anyone know an Anti-Rain Dance? Cos I'll be dancing it immediately! |
