Subject: BS: Admiralty Arch - the start of a trend? From: GUEST,Big Al Whittle Date: 27 Oct 12 - 07:23 AM As you see they've hired out Admiralty Arch to make a hotel, and egg and chips joint. I think they should do the same with House of Commons. You could move parliament to an industrial estate outside Sutton in Ashfield. there would be plenty of parking and it would create jobs. The original house of commons could be a pizze hut, spud u like, and other exciting projects in the services led recovery. Likewise Buckingham palace. there are several very nice bungalows on our estate, where the Queen would be more comfortable, and there would be less dusting for her. |

Subject: RE: BS: Admiralty Arch - the start of a trend? From: GUEST,Eliza Date: 27 Oct 12 - 09:37 AM I seem to remember Prince Charles saying he'd prefer not to live in Buck Palace when he's king. He said perhaps it could be made into a hotel. Spud-U-Like!! LOL! Wouldn't it be fun to construct a little house on the top of, say, the Monument, or Nelson's Column? A wealthy Saudi Prince might like the cachet of living up there. I think the H of P would make a nice Casino, with a lot of one-armed bandits. (No change there?) |
