on my weekend away, I used blockout on my face & arms for the first time this summer!

My friend is a historian & was showing me the local graveyards & other sights in the middle of a typical summer day.

Tonight in my neighborhood is our first really cold night in what looks like a series of cool clear days. It's the weather that makes me think it may actually be approaching the holiday season. Time to get in the spirit and join the Secret Santa game - it is a lot of fun selecting small easily-shipped gifts for your appointed santee.

The Secret Santa gift exchange this year is in the works - we may be taking turns running it (I won't say who "we" are yet), but weather may be a factor that slows it down a tad. Since about 25% of the US was hit by Hurricane/Tropical Storm Sandy, we'll have to see what's up. The plan is to start things in the first week of November.

Stay tuned, and start stockpiling those wonderful little gifts that appeal to fellow Mudcatters.
