Don't did the leafs, nor the value to their fans nor $ value. They are on the longest non-losing streak in the history of the team. It's likely why the $ value went up. Surely winning is not a significant factor on that front.

gnu, you heard wrong! As Ed indicates they have not lost a game since last spring. Since then they have sold millions of trinkets and paid no wages. Damn few organizations can do so well by doing nothing, and by doing nothing perform better than if they were doing something! :-}

Those that follow the Hockey thread's   Not this one. Know i am a Red Wing fanatic. However, I also love to watch other teams play and appreciate the great moves etc. of other team players. All to say, that I do hope the Leaf's get the cup in the next year or so. It is a franchise that deserves it. Not the owners but the fans.
