On it was Ottilie Patterson singing St Louis Blues which had a trumpet obbligato played by Pat Halcox which made the hair on my arms stand up. It was then I realised the power of music and I have never looked back |

Obits in all the British broadsheets but full tribute, photos, messages on Chris Barber website He also played piano on Lonnie's Diggin' my potatoes. I am glad to have been able to listen to him live & on records for the last 50 years. RtS |
