In 2011 the Obama team laid out the "sequester." It would kick in unless spending issues were resolved by the Democrats and Republicans by 2013. No resolution, so Obama's sequester is now in effect.

From the World Socialist Website:

An estimated 600,000 low-income women and children will be denied benefits under the federal nutrition program for women, infants and children known as WIC, which will lose $340 million in funding this fiscal year....

...economists are forecasting that the sequestration will eventually cost more than 750,000 jobs and cut US economic growth by over 0.5 percent.

Sequester initiates new austerity drive against US workers

Obama is assaulting the poor with Obamacare, and now this. He is killing Americans with his austerity programs.
