Subject: RE: Bula Bula Quo From: Dave the Gnome Date: 09 Jun 13 - 06:45 AM It just struck me as well - Simple, accessible, easily enjoyable I remember reading the notes on A Sam Cook album - Probably my all time favourite Soul singer - ans he said that music should be simple and easy to listen too. A tune that anyone can repeat sort of thing. I probably like Quo for the same reason. And the same could well be true about a lot of folk songs and tunes! Maybe we are on to something here :-) Cheers DtG |

Subject: RE: Bula Bula Quo From: Kampervan Date: 08 Jun 13 - 01:49 AM The music of Status Quo. Simple, accessible, easily enjoyable, easy to dance to, makes you feel good, unpretentious and escapist. There's room for all types of music, millions enjoy it and ....its made them a lot of money. Nothing wrong with any of that. Ducks and waits............... K/van |
