Subject: RE: Whitby FW Glaisdale Train From: GUEST,Leicester Two Date: 30 Aug 13 - 05:25 PM To avoid misunderstanding,we don't actually know Megson! I meant that we introduced Nick to their music. :) |
Subject: RE: Whitby FW Glaisdale Train From: GUEST,The Leicester Two Date: 26 Aug 13 - 05:19 PM Glad you liked our Longshot and that we introduced you to the writers Megson (they live in Cambridge). You and your wife do a great job and thank goodness for people like you that actually DO something instead of moaning. |
Subject: RE: Whitby FW Glaisdale Train From: GUEST,Raggytash Date: 26 Aug 13 - 09:19 AM Just a quick note to say Thank-you to all those who joined us on the Glaisdale trip. Numbers were down a bit on previous years but that had no effect to the music which as always was great. We managed to raise £130 for the Rescue Boat and I think everyone had a good time. My particular favourite was Long Shot by a couple from Cambridge(?) what a great song well preformed. Did you manage to make it Ull Lad? |

Subject: RE: Whitby FW Glaisdale Train From: GUEST,Raggytash Date: 08 Jul 13 - 06:52 AM What's getting upperty? Mr McGarry and myself have enjoyed many a session together both in Whitby and elsewhere. Punch the Horse did a fantastic night for our 25th anniversary celebrations some years ago. He doesn't get to Whitby these days though so I don't see him as we seldom go to other festivals. And as for observations you can make as many as you like me old love, it keeps the thread active. Ta. |
