This is a great shame. He worked very haard to maintain the profile of the team. I have added his name to the "In Memoriam" thread.

Les died on Saturday night. He was the Isca Morris co-founder and a founder member of Gwerinwyr Gwent (The Welsh team based in Bassaleg) back in 1976. His widow, Carole, danced with Cwmni Gwerin Pont-y-pwl.

Isca was the Roman name for the gigantic fort at Caerleon, five miles to the north of Newport, near to the River Usk. Over the years, Gwerinwyr Gwent and Isca Morris have been involved in many events together; Les will be sadly missed.

Very sorry to hear that an old friend Les Chittleburgh has died. My commiserations to his wife and any family.

Les Chittleburgh, webmaster and secretary of Isca Morris, based in Old Cwmbran in the old county of Gwent, collapsed and died on Saturday at the home he shared with his wife Carole. Both Les and Carole were looking forward to the Tredegar House Folk Festival fundraising concert, held in the town of Usk with Allan Yn Y Fan, Chris Moreton and Dave and Meg Cox; however, at the end of the concert, compere Barbara Griffiths broke the news that Les had gone. Les developed Isca Morris's website and was the mainstay of the team; meanwhile, details are sketchy at the moment.
